Barcelona: Sants-Montjuic

July 8, 2012

Today Sants, a neighborhood not very touristic, but popular. A place, wich was a little town years ago, with some interesting hidden places.

Plaça Osca (Osca Square): in the old town, it’s perfect to find some tapas, fresh beer and good sandwitxes in a sunny day. In the closest streets (Premià and Rec Streets) you’ll find places to have a beer or a cup of wine (Sa Cava), teas  (Tetería Malea), restaurants (La Paradeta, with fresh fish)… There is a place with a good quality/price ratio for sandwitches, Terra d’Escudella, but take into account that it is not a place to go wearing a suit.

In Vallespir Street, two great little places: Bar Antale S.L., wine, vermouth and cuban tapas and Celler de Gelida, a cellar  when you’ll receive great suggestions to buy wine, liquor, etc.

In Tenor Masini Street, restaurant Blau, a good place for couples or to have a good and quiet dinner.

In Olzinelles Street, near Cotxeres de Sants, the restaurant Caliu de Sants, traditional catalan cook, with big torradas.

In Montjuic,  in a natural place at open-air, you’ll find Caseta del Migdia, a place to have a drink and some tapas. To go there, you need a car.

And in Summer, cinema at open-air in Montjuic Castle.

And in Creu Cobertea 90, a new bakery with craft products, Tradizionalia, our best wishes to them!

Of course, you have here a place to share your favorite places!
