Barcelona: Gràcia (II)

February 2, 2013

In this post we want to show a more traditional gastronomic route in Gracia town. Let’s show some interesting restaurants.

Arrosseria Xàtiva (Torrent d’en Vidalet St., 26). If you want real paella, come here. Always plenty and loyal customers.

El Glop (Sant Lluís St., 24): Catalan traditional cuisine in a homely local. Good meat and sausage. In these days, interesting calçots menu. Close is El Nou Glop (Calle Montmany 49), cheaper and focus on tapas and “torrades”.

El Disbarat (Montseny St., 14): Based on Catalan cuisine, with more varied dishes as El Glop. The local was an ancient Catalan bar with Cuban reminiscences.

Sporting (Maspons St.,16). Next to Sol Square, traditional Galician restaurant, perfect if you want to eat good and big dishes.

La Violeta (Sant Joaquim St., 14) Local of Catalan Popular Culture, reopened in 2012. Good and cheap menu. There is a part for children with different activities. And a good place to have a cup of coffee or a beer in the evening.
