Bars in Barcelona (II)

July 28, 2013

Summer is a good season to discover new places, so here you have another post about some charming and curious bars in Barcelona.

Andú (Correu Vell St.3) Next to “Correos” building, in a tiny street, you can find a quite place to have a cup of wine and some tapas in a intimate atmosphere. There are a good variety of wines. One of our favourite places.

Antiquari (Veguer St.13) Placed in Plaça del Rei, close to the Cathedral, an old bar adapted to modern times. We recommend to stay upstairs, on second floor. A good experience if there is a concert  in the square.

Salterio (Sant Domènec del Call St 6) Between Cathedral and Sant Jaume Square. In this little bar (there are just a few tables) you can have a cup of tea, a coffee or wine.  In the same street, you can find Chaj Hai  (Sant Domènec del Call 12), another place specialized in teas. It is in front of a quiet square, an oasis in the city centre. To complete the route,  in this street there is also La Vinateria del Call (Sant Domènec del Call 9), restaurant of typical catalan food.

Vinilo (Matilde St. 2) Next to Plaça de la Vila in Gracia, this is a modern bar where you can have a drink hearing good music.

Adonis (Bailen St. 188) Placed in Eixample, next to Gracia, in this bar you can have a coffee, drink, some tapas and even a simple menu, because it is open all day. Two floors, decoration with books and some round tables in the street make this bar a different place in the area.
