Barcelona: Parlament Street

September 15, 2013

In Sant Antoni, Parlament Street links Paral.lel/Poble Sec and Las Ramblas and city center. New bars, restaurants, galleries are appearing in this area, making it very interesting to discover gastronomic and cultural offers. Some of the bars in this street:

Federal Café (Parlament St.,39): this place is on fashion to have a brunch there, all very trendy.  Sandwiches, eggs, juices. And coffee, of course.

Bar Calders (Parlament St.,25): terrace with flowers, home-made tapas, vermouth for foodies and good place for a coffee. You can find there Pere Calder’s books and some dishes of Mexican food, due to the exile of the Catalan writer.

Tarannà (Viladomat St.,23): Perfect for a breakfast, brunch or vermut, it has an assorted offer, from tapas, salad, sandwiches, sweet and salt cakes.

Café Cometa (Parlament St.20): Small place, but colourful, it is the perfect place for breakfast with fresh juice and a muffin or a slice of carrot cake, or a sandwich for dinner.

Els Sortidors del Parlament (Parlament St.51): specialized in wines and tapas. A taste is possible there for 4 euros.
