Takashi Ochiai: the best croissant 2013 is in Barcelona!

We had heard about the best croissant 2013 and we decided to taste it before the end of the year. You can find this butter croissant in Barcelona’s Eixample, in the pastry shop Takashi Ochiai (Urgell St.,110).

It has been created by Jordi Torelló and we can confirm it is delicious, meaning taste and texture. (Sorry about the photo, but we were hungry…incredible in the middle of this time of meal’s marathon?;).

The owner believes in the importance of the raw materials’ quality. Here you can see more about the elaboration of the croissant.

All in the pastry shop of Takashi Ochiai is a temptation. You can find nougat, bonbons, cakes, Japanese snacks and specialities ,etc…and a funny matxa’s capuccino.

Very kind attention and a nice local make this place a pleasant meeting point (it has also a little corner for children). And thinking about the King’s Day, a selection of some of the products of the shop could be a good idea for a gift!
