Do you stay in Barcelona?

Tapas route in Poble Sec (Barcelona): until April 24th! Every Thursday tapa +beer/wine=2€, from 19 to 23h in different bars of this interesting area.

Tapas route in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona): this city bet for this route, a contest of tapas between different restaurants and the option of tapa+beer/wine at 2,5€. All the bars here.

Thinking of a day off ? (Catalunya)

In Tortosa (Tarragona), included in Abadejo Route that ends today April 20th, cod menu (typical dish these Easter Days) in different restaurants.

Pals i la cuina de l’arròs (rice cuisine): from March 15th to May 4th, different restaurants offers a menu including rice from Pals and wines from Caves Castell de Perelada. A good reason to know this medieval village.

Brunch in Granja Petitbó (Passeig St.Joan n.82): Saturday,Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 15.30h , a place decorated following a Swedish style (simple decoration, natural light and wooden tables) and where you can eat a menu or have a coffee and home-made pastry.

Do you stay in Madrid?

Torrijas route  in Madrid: until April 30th, torrijas (popular sweet at Easter Week in some parts of Spain, also pestiños or buñuelos)  at less than 3,5€, classical or creative. Details of the route here.

And the last tradition of Easter, in Catalunya, La Mona de Pascua, a cake decorated with chocolate figures (usually including Easter eggs). But these figures are an exercise of imagination and you can see a lot of different figures in all the pastry shops, related to political, sportive o child’s issues, sometimes really artistic!

One of the trendiest pastry shop in Barcelona is La Pastisseria (Aragon St.228). Of course they are offering monas de Pascua that families are going to eat today or tomorrow, Easter Monday.
