Some gastronomic activities in Catalunya if you want to go out of Barcelona:

2a Festa de la Cervesa (Beer Fair) in Sant Iscle de Vallalta: Today, July 5th, craft beer, music and activities for children. A town in Maresme, near to Arenys, Canet and Sant Pol de Mar.

Tastets surrealistes in Girona: From June 12th to July 12th, some restaurants offer a menu based in surrealism (and Dali’s inspiration!). Menus including beer, go from 12 to 18€.  See all the details here. And other activities in the city (music,cinema,antiques market,etc)

Jornades de Cuina Cajun in Tortosa (Tarragona): Near to the  Delta de l’Ebre, in Tortosa takes place the XXI Mostra of Jazz Tortosa, from June 30th to July 5th, with different jazz concerts. These days the city organizes also gastronomic journeys of Cajun Cuisine, offering dishes inspired in traditional cuisine of New Orleans. Menus at 25th in different restaurants. But if you stay in Barcelona, you have some popular activities in the city:

Festival del Món (Moll de la Fusta) (July 5th and 6th): from 11 to 22h, international popular cuisine coming from India, Pakistan, Peru,Cuba, Tunisia, Colombia,etc. Next to the sea and integrated in the rest of activities of the Festival.

Cuines de Món (Navàs Sq) Today, July 5th, from 20.30 to 23h, in Poble Sec, a taste of international cuisine from all over the world. And from 18 to 19.30h, gastronomic workshop for children, organized by Centre Civic El Sortidor.

3a Festa de la Sidra in Can Batlló (Constitució St,9): Today, July 5th, at 13h, tapa + sidra = 4 € and music (punk, rock, ska). An event in Sants organized by Espai de Creació Musical Can Batlló. Sidra is  and fresh drink made of apple and alcohol very popular in Asturias (North of Spain)

If you want a vermut, a lot of options in Barcelona. One of them, Cerveceria Clandestina (Corcega St,611): vermut and concert at 12.30h tomorrow, July 6th.

Take advantage in a lot of popular activities at open air in Barcelona these days: concerts, music in bars, antiques markets, etc. or just have a drink in one of the terraces or chiringuitos next to the sea! Enjoy!
