Blavis restaurant in Barcelona

November 23, 2014

In the middle of Putget i Farró, a neighbourhood between Gracia and Sarrià Sant Gervasi, there is this (very) small and intimate restaurant: Blavis (Saragossa St.,85). The owners, Catalan and Basque, offer a “market cuisine” (they cook only products buyed in the market everyday, so the dishes can change day by day) and quality cooking, made with love and patience (priceless these days!).

The proposal are small dishes to share, but don’t worry if you love eating well, food amount is enough. Sorry about the quality of the photos! Some dishes: tartar, aubergine carpaccio and one interpretation of mexican cochinita pibil as small bites, very tasty.  (Sorry about the quality of the photos…)DSC_1942

The service is very familiar and explain the dishes solving doubts kindly.

Now they open only at night (a few monts ago there was a lunch menu famous  due to his excellent quality-price ratio). In summary, a place highly recommended in Barcelona.
