Weekend February 7-8th in Barcelona

This weekend you have different options if you stay in Barcelona. Let’s start with two markets:

Palo Alto Market (Pellaires St. 30): Saturday and Sunday, this hidden and special space in Poble Nou offers a lot of options in the different stands: clothes, desingn galleries, workshops (some for children), etc. About food: in this edition, Ceviche 103 Experiences (Peruvian streetfood and a masterclass if you pay 10 euros) and different kind of streetfood: Cloudstreet Bakery, Cukor, Nomad Café, Organic Gourmet…


Chewie Market Barcelona (CREC, Blesa St.29): Tomorrow, Sunday, and since 11.30 a.m,second edition of this market in Poble Sec. Different stands with clothes, handmade objects, music, books, etc. About food, we know there will be Reina Croqueta, we tasted his products in EatStreet Food Barcelona, really tasty.

And popular events:

Festes de Santa Eulalia. In the city center, popular activities (castellers, free museums, etc) and decorations and events dedicated to the “light”. See the program here.


And last days of Barcelona Negra 2015. Some cultural events dedicated to noir literature and cinema (in Barcelona Filmoteca). Here you go a recommended gastronomic route related to Vázquez-Montalban, the author of Pepe Carvalho novels.
